I purchased a portion of onion rings and some curry, the flavour was remarkable, service impeccable, i would rate it six stars if i could, the food was presented to me at a very quick pace and the young man who served me (tall with dark hair) was a delight to speak to.

Really disappointed in star rating Google is showing, this should be a 5*! Got chips at lunch time today, they looked great when I opened the bag but they tasted even better! Stopped occasionally on the way through at other chippys when I was really hungry but will be getting my chips here from now on... I might not even need to be too hungry 😉

So I haven’t got a chippy in a while because everyone I’ve had in the past year or two have been extremely greasy, freezing cold or has just been of really low quality. Ordered over the phone and was able to pick up quickly. After picking my food up I stopped at the shop to grab a few things and after getting home all my food was still warm and a perfecting eating temperature. Everything was cooked to perfection, the chips and the batter were crispy with out being too greasy and I even got a battered mars bar that brought back so much nostalgia. I would highly recommend LG’s and anyone complaining about prices should build a bridge and get over themselves. This wee chippy has been around from as far back as I can remember and is one of the few chippies to always be consistent in quality of the food they put out. Don’t be tight and tip your local businesses, next time I’m in I’ll be sure to leave a bigger one.
